Regional Sales Manager, Western Region

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Regional Sales Manager, Western Region in the United States.

This role is ideal for an accomplished sales professional with a strong background in technical or industrial solutions. You will lead sales efforts across the Western United States, managing key accounts and channel partners while driving revenue growth and market expansion. The position offers the opportunity to influence strategic decisions, develop high-impact sales initiatives, and collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, product marketing, and operations. You will oversee the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing deals, while mentoring and supporting sales partners to achieve ambitious targets. This is a remote role with significant autonomy and a direct impact on business performance and customer satisfaction.


  • Accountabilities
  • Develop and execute sales strategies and objectives for the Western Region to drive revenue growth, market share, and profitability.
  • Manage and optimize performance of channel partners and distributors, ensuring alignment with strategic business goals.
  • Track and report sales performance, opportunities, and forecasts through CRM systems to ensure accurate pipeline management.
  • Engage directly with key customers to build and maintain strategic relationships, providing technical and commercial guidance.
  • Provide product training, sales support, and objection handling assistance to regional sales teams and partners.
  • Offer market insights and feedback to Product Marketing, Engineering, and Operations teams to guide product development and innovation.
  • Analyze historical sales data to identify trends, project needs, and optimize account strategies.
  • Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Technical, or related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of sales experience, including at least 3 years as a regional sales manager with increasing responsibility.
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets consistently.
  • Experience in technical or industrial product sales, ideally in power systems, instrumentation, or related sectors.
  • Strong customer-focused approach with excellent communication, negotiation, and facilitation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CRM systems.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 50%.
  • Self-directed, independent work ethic with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. and access export-controlled information as required.
