Regional Chains Manager

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Regional Chains Manager in the United States.

This role offers the opportunity to lead sales initiatives across a diverse portfolio of foodservice accounts, focusing on regional and emerging chain customers. The Regional Chains Manager will drive growth by expanding existing business, developing new accounts, and delivering value-added solutions tailored to customer menus and operational goals. You will manage customer relationships at all levels, optimize portfolio performance, and execute strategic sales plans that align with regional objectives. The position requires a mix of strategic planning, account management, and hands-on sales execution, while working collaboratively with internal teams. Travel up to 50% is expected, including overnight trips, to maintain strong client engagement and achieve sales targets. This role provides a highly dynamic environment where performance directly impacts business growth and customer success.


Accountabilities:
  • Manage and grow the regional portfolio of customized and branded foodservice accounts.
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to expand business and increase menu penetration.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders at chain accounts.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive revenue growth and profitability.
  • Manage all aspects of the sales cycle, including pricing strategies, negotiations, and contract management.
  • Monitor and analyze business trends to optimize sales performance and inform strategic initiatives.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to leverage technologies, marketing support, and operational resources.
  • Participate in annual budgeting, forecasting, and performance review processes.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Food Science, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience managing regional and emerging foodservice chain accounts.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills for stakeholder management and presentations.
  • Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and able to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% within assigned regions, including overnight stays.
  • Experience with Salesforce or other CRM systems is a plus.
