Your Mission:
In this role, the Manager, Human Resources is responsible for leadership in the development of and the execution of the human resources services functions, supporting the overall strategic direction of the departments they support, focusing on areas of high-performance culture management and colleague engagement while ensuring compliance and consistency with federal, state, local and international laws, as well as company policies. The Manager, Human Resources provides guidance and advisement to their direct reports, colleagues, leaders, and senior-level management within the Company.

Demonstrates leadership to inspire and empower HR colleagues directly reporting to them to deliver their objectives and achieve their career aspirations (includes hiring, training, coaching, and evaluating their performance).
Builds strong relationships with management and senior leaders providing a business partnership on how HR can help deliver strategic results.
Uses data and analytics to inform a point of view, shape the leaders strategy to meet business deliverables, and enable the execution of corporate strategy (high performance culture).
Leads organizational design efforts for both present and future to support department needs of leaders they support.
Brings subject matter expertise in HR processes, including org. design, performance management and coaching, succession planning, change management and high-performance culture.
Collaborates with leaders and members of the Talent Management Department to ensure budgeted positions align with finance approvals.
Partners with Compensation Department to administer compensation following Company guidelines including new hire offers, salary adjustments, promotions, severance payments etc.
Monitors, audits, and investigates HR related matters and regulations including, but not limited to sexual harassment, discrimination, ADA, FMLA, Wage and Hour, EEOC, DOL and health/safety issues.
Handles, provides counsel and/or makes recommendations on colleague relation issues and provides individual coaching to leaders and colleagues at all organizational levels related to performance, misconduct and policy violation.
Works to develop, revise and communicate policies, practices and procedures as needed.
Acts as a liaison between departments (payroll, benefits, compensation, risk management, communications etc.)
Develops and teaches HR training programs as needed and directed by Director of Human Resources.
Assists in developing and maintaining a strategic model for ensuring global colleague relations support and compliance with country laws and practices including domestic immigration compliance.
Assist franchisees as needed.
Assists and plans events and programs as directed.
Training and awareness to leaders and colleagues on Workday functionality.
Facilitation of colleague focus groups (RAP sessions).
Conducts field training sessions as needed.
Create reports as necessary.
Monitor performance management process to ensure compliance.
Promptly responds to all requests relating to unemployment and represents company at unemployment hearings.
Writes and revises job descriptions.
Maintains the highest level of confidentiality and sensitivity to all HR related matters and information.
Who You Are:
Bachelor’s degree in human resource management with 5 years’ experience as a human resources business partner.
Excellent communication (written and verbal), problem solving and conflict resolution and organizational skills. The ability to communicate information one on one, or to a group.
Working knowledge of local, state and federal employment laws.
Proficient in software applications such as Microsoft Suite and Workday.
The ability to work in a busy environment with constant interactions with people of a variety of different ages, personalities, cultures and educational backgrounds.
The ability to identify and resolve potential or existing problems, implement change, identify training needs, or other HR related resolutions.
Possess a valid driver’s license from the state of residence and a reliable vehicle to complete responsibilities as required.
The ability to travel (local, out of state and internationally) as required and adhere to established Travel Policy Guidelines.
Master’s degree in human resources preferred.
Professional Human Resources (PHR) or Senior Professional Human Resources (SPHR) certification preferred.
Food service/retail related work experience preferred.
Where You’ll Work:
Works in a normal office environment where there is no physical discomfort due to temperature, noise, dust and the like.
Exposure to colleague confrontations.
Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
