Sr. HR Business Partner

Gas South is a customer-focused energy company that treats HR as a strategic driver of business performance and culture. The Senior HR Business Partner will act as a strategic advisor to senior leaders, lead high-impact HR initiatives, manage complex employee relations matters, and use analytics to drive people decisions while supporting culture transformation and organizational change across the Atlanta or Gainesville offices.

Skills

  • Strong relationship management and stakeholder partnering
  • Business acumen and financial literacy to align HR to business strategy
  • Advanced HR analytics and data-driven decision making
  • In-depth employee relations and investigation skills
  • Experience with compensation, benefits and performance management
  • Organizational design and change management expertise
  • Coaching and leadership development capabilities
  • Proficiency with MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams; experience with HRMS/UKG preferred

Responsibilities

  • Act as a dedicated HR advisor to business leaders on complex HR issues, organizational development and leadership strategies
  • Lead and own strategic HR initiatives and cross-functional projects that align with company goals
  • Manage employee relations cases including investigations, conflict resolution and compliance with employment laws
  • Design and implement performance management, succession planning and leadership development programs
  • Use HR analytics and metrics to identify trends, measure program effectiveness and inform executive decision-making
  • Drive organizational change management for restructuring, culture transformation and workforce planning
  • Collaborate with HR and cross-functional teams to deliver integrated people solutions and programs
  • Mitigate risk through up-to-date knowledge of employment law and policy compliance

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or related field (required)
  • SHRM and/or HRCI certification (preferred)
  • Master’s degree or MBA in HR, Organizational Development or related field (preferred)
