Code.org is seeking a Director of Development to nurture and expand key donor relationships, work with leadership, and implement strategies for sustainable revenue growth, both remotely and in Seattle, WA.
Responsibilities: Manage a portfolio of significant donors, develop customized strategies for renewals, mentor a fundraising team, collaborate with internal teams for donor engagement materials, and represent Code.org at donor meetings and events.
Skills: 8+ years in fundraising or account management, exceptional relationship-building and negotiation skills, experience with Salesforce, and strong project management abilities.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree is required; advanced degree preferred, and a minimum of two travels per year for team events is necessary.

The Director of Development is a key contributor on Code.org’s Revenue and Development team, responsible for stewarding and growing our largest existing donor relationships across individuals, foundations, and corporate partners. This role directly manages a personal portfolio of high-value donors. The Director of Development will collaborate closely with executive leadership, program, and product teams to craft tailored partnership strategies that advance both donor goals and Code.org’s mission. This position is essential to sustaining our impact and ensuring long-term revenue predictability.

The expected salary range for this position is $124,200 - $138,000. Most offers are on the lower end of the salary range and are at the company’s sole discretion based on the final candidate’s experience.
