Senior Account Executive

CData is a real-time data connectivity company headquartered in Chapel Hill, NC, providing a large library of connectors that let organizations access and integrate data across cloud and on‑prem systems. We are seeking a Senior Account Executive to own the full sales cycle for outbound‑sourced opportunities, driving new logo acquisition through consultative selling, technical collaboration, and executive engagement.

Skills

  • Consultative selling and executive-level value messaging
  • Complex, multi-stakeholder deal management
  • Technical discovery and ability to navigate technical ecosystems
  • Salesforce CRM usage and disciplined pipeline management
  • Prospecting, outbound sequencing, and social selling

Responsibilities

  • Rapidly engage and qualify SDR‑sourced leads via calls, email, and social selling
  • Develop account penetration plans and execute targeted outbound prospecting
  • Lead consultative sales cycles with multi‑stakeholder buying committees
  • Collaborate with Solution Engineering on demos, POCs, and technical validation
  • Maintain accurate forecasts and pipeline hygiene in Salesforce
  • Provide market and messaging feedback to improve outbound plays and lead quality

Education

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent relevant experience
  • Relevant professional sales training or certifications a plus
