Staff Accountant
Skills
- 1+ years of finance or accounting experience
- Experience with accounting transactions and month-end reconciliations
- Familiarity with NetSuite or similar ERP systems (preferred)
- Experience with Concur or expense management tools (preferred)
- Strong Excel skills for reconciliations and reporting
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Problem-solving and troubleshooting mindset
Responsibilities
- Oversee Accounts Payable: vendor setup, invoice coding in NetSuite, and biweekly AP payments
- File annual 1099s for applicable vendors
- Manage Concur and process monthly corporate card and employee reimbursement expenses
- Prepare monthly reconciliations (bank, fixed assets, prepaid expenses, etc.) to support month-end close
- Assist with annual financial statement audit and related requests
- Create and maintain process narratives and documentation for finance workflows
- Participate in ad hoc projects and cross-functional initiatives
- Build relationships across teams to ensure clear communication between finance and other departments
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
- Relevant accounting coursework or associate degree considered
- CPA or progress toward certification is a plus
