Account Manager, Growth & Acquisition East

Axon is a mission-driven company focused on public safety technology and cloud software. The Account Manager, Growth & Acquisition East will drive new business and expansions across major city police departments and county sheriff’s offices, co-own quota with a Key Account Leader, and coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure adoption and measurable outcomes.

Skills

  • Full-cycle new business sales experience (prospecting through close)
  • Proven quota attainment in a hunter-oriented role
  • Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise accounts
  • Familiarity with Salesforce and CRM-driven forecasting
  • Strong verbal and written communication and executive presence
  • Cross-functional coordination and deal orchestration
  • Comfortable with 60–80% travel within territory

Responsibilities

  • Prospect, develop, and close new business and expansions within a territory of major city police departments and county sheriff’s offices
  • Maintain and manage a long-term growth pipeline and accurate forecasts in Salesforce
  • Co-own quota with a Key Account Leader; support team-attributed revenue goals
  • Build and expand multi-threaded relationships with senior agency stakeholders
  • Identify whitespace and align Axon solutions to customer priorities through territory plans
  • Participate in executive meetings and QBRs to demonstrate value and uncover opportunities
  • Serve as primary liaison between customers and internal teams (CSMs, Solutions, Legal, Services)
  • Scope aligned deals and ensure seamless handoffs for post-sale execution and adoption
  • Monitor service fulfillment, escalate risks, and ensure customer outcomes
  • Use Salesforce and AI productivity tools to enhance insights and communications

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience preferred
  • Relevant certifications or sales training considered a plus
