Technical Recruiter - Contract

Anduril Industries is a defense technology company building AI-powered autonomy, computer vision, sensor fusion, and networking systems for military applications. They are seeking a high-ownership Technical Recruiter to drive high-volume sourcing, screening, and hiring primarily for software roles on the Air & Ground Deterrence team (with occasional hardware roles) on a 6-month contract with conversion eligibility.

Skills

  • 5+ years sourcing and engaging top-tier software engineering talent
  • Strong stakeholder management and consultative recruiting experience
  • Deep understanding of software engineering roles, skills, and market
  • Hands-on experience with recruiting tools like Greenhouse and Gem
  • Proficient with Boolean search, LinkedIn Recruiter, and multiple sourcing channels
  • Ability to manage multiple candidate funnels and pipeline reporting
  • Comfortable working autonomously while collaborating with a small team

Responsibilities

  • Source, screen, and track a high volume of technical candidates through the full interview lifecycle
  • Partner closely with hiring managers to influence talent strategy and deliver hiring targets
  • Pitch team mission and roles to attract and close exceptional software engineering talent
  • Track and analyze pipeline and performance data to improve recruiting outcomes
  • Design and implement recruiting strategies and process improvements (referrals, automation, best practices)
  • Use advanced prospecting techniques and tools for information retrieval, web-scraping, and candidate management
  • Conduct interviews and assess candidate fit to achieve high interview-to-offer ratios
  • Engage passive candidates via LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, referrals, and SOBO campaigns
  • Drive diverse talent pipeline and ensure a positive candidate experience through proactive communication

Education

  • Bachelor's degree preferred but not required; equivalent experience accepted
  • Relevant recruiting certifications or continued professional development a plus
