Head of Talent Acquisition

Visier is a global leader in AI-powered people analytics, workforce planning, and compensation management. The company is seeking a strategic, hands-on Head of Talent Acquisition to build and lead a scalable TA function, elevate employer branding, and deliver data-driven hiring outcomes across North America while managing a small internal team and contract resources.

Skills

  • Progressive leadership experience running TA functions and managing distributed teams
  • Deep knowledge of full-cycle recruiting and modern sourcing techniques
  • Employer branding and candidate marketing experience
  • Strong experience with ATS, TRM, and recruitment technology
  • Data-driven decision making and experience using TA metrics
  • Stakeholder management and executive influence
  • Knowledge of compliance and inclusive hiring best practices
  • Experience building talent pipelines and campus programs

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute an overarching TA strategy aligned to business objectives and workforce plans.
  • Design team structure and resourcing model (internal recruiters, contractors, agencies) and manage day-to-day hiring operations.
  • Develop and amplify the Employee Value Proposition (EVP) and employer brand in partnership with Marketing and Communications.
  • Build proactive talent pipelines and TRM strategies for hard-to-fill roles and campus programs.
  • Own TA technology stack, ATS integrity, vendor relationships, and process optimization.
  • Establish and report on KPIs to measure quality of hire, time-to-fill, candidate experience, and other TA metrics.
  • Ensure equitable, inclusive, and compliant hiring practices across jurisdictions.
  • Influence senior leaders and partner with People & Culture to align hiring decisions to business priorities.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • Professional HR/Talent certifications a plus (e.g., SHRM, HRCI, CIPD)
  • Ongoing learning mindset with demonstrated continuous development
