Sales Development Representative - job 1 of 2

Wisetack is a well-funded fintech startup building consumer lending products for service-based businesses. The company seeks a motivated Sales Development Representative to drive outbound prospecting and populate the sales funnel with qualified merchant leads in the home services vertical, partnering closely with Account Executives and cross-functional growth teams.

Skills

  • Proven outbound prospecting and lead generation skills
  • Comfortable with high activity levels (calls, emails, meetings set)
  • Strong verbal and written communication and influencing skills
  • Experience working with CRM/prospecting tools (Salesforce, SalesLoft, Apollo) preferred
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and prioritize outreach based on impact
  • Self-motivated, organized, and able to work effectively in a fully remote environment

Responsibilities

  • Identify and initiate pipeline discussions with target merchants and hand off qualified prospects to Account Executives
  • Design and execute creative outbound outreach campaigns (email, LinkedIn, cold calls, events) to populate the top of funnel
  • Manage and qualify prospects through the early stages of the business development lifecycle
  • Clearly articulate Wisetack’s value proposition and product features to merchants
  • Engage in discovery conversations to assess merchant needs and fit
  • Share market and product insights with Marketing, Partnerships, and Product teams
  • Represent Wisetack at industry conferences when required to generate leads

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Communications, or related field (required)
