Responsibilities
- Partner with leadership on organization and culture change, transformation initiatives and succession planning
- Advise and coach managers and employees on employee engagement, performance management and career development
- Lead or support workplace investigations and employee relations matters as appropriate
- Support talent assessment, acquisition and retention initiatives including multi-level recruitment
- Collaborate with HR colleagues on special projects, best-practice sharing and cross-functional initiatives
- Ensure adherence to local, state and federal employment, wage/hour, OSHA and related laws
- Champion a high-performance work environment and drive employee engagement activities
- Provide responsive, timely and professional HR customer service to stakeholders
- Support union-related matters and negotiations as needed
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field required
- Master's degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM, SPHR) preferred
- Ongoing HR training and professional development preferred
