Sales Engineer - Federal (Clearance Required)

SpyCloud is a cybersecurity leader focused on disrupting the criminal underground by preventing account takeover, ransomware, and online fraud. They are seeking an experienced Sales Engineer with active TS or TS/SCI clearance to support Federal sales — someone who can translate complex technical solutions (identity protection, zero-trust, threat intelligence, SaaS integrations, OSINT) into clear business value for Federal customers and partners.

Skills

  • Active TS or TS/SCI security clearance (required)
  • 7+ years cybersecurity presales experience (10+ preferred)
  • Deep knowledge of identity protection, zero-trust, threat intelligence, and account takeover prevention
  • Experience with cloud security, APIs, SIEMs (Splunk, Elastic), and scripting (Python, Bash)
  • Familiarity with OSINT and link analysis tools (Maltego, IBM i2, Palantir) preferred
  • Proven Federal technical contacts and experience engaging US Federal customers and channels
  • Strong presentation, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience contributing to RFP/RFI responses and technical proposal content

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Federal sales to present tailored SpyCloud solutions and support the full technical sales cycle
  • Perform product demonstrations, technical presentations, and requirements analysis for Federal customers
  • Leverage SpyCloud data and OSINT to hunt adversaries and map findings to customer use cases
  • Support technical sections of proposals, RFIs, and RFP responses aligned to Federal requirements
  • Drive channel enablement and work with resellers, distributors, and systems integrators on joint opportunities
  • Guide solution architecture, API workflows, data ingestion, and compliance alignment for integrations
  • Act as a trusted advisor and customer advocate to maximize platform value and adoption
  • Capture and relay Federal-specific product feedback to Product, Engineering, and Marketing teams
  • Travel as required to meet customers and partners

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
  • Relevant industry certifications are a plus (e.g., CISSP, GCIH, Security+)
  • Active eligibility to work in the U.S.; SpyCloud is not sponsoring visas for this role
