Sales Development Representative Intern - Boston

Overview

Seismic is looking for Sales Development Representative Interns! If you’re thinking about a career in sales post grad, Seismic has an opportunity to introduce you to the fast paced, high-energy world of sales.  We’re looking for hard-working individuals with an academic focus on sales to join the Inside Sales machine for 10 weeks this summer. What you can expect from us is purpose driven work, opportunity to build connection & community, enablement & mentorship, growth & development, and of course a little bit of fun! 

Our internship program is hosted in our Boston and San Diego offices. The program's start date is June 1, 2026.

Who you are:

  • A passion to learn sales   
  • High energy, enthusiasm, and ambition to grow in your career  
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills  
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail 
  • Experience in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook 
  • Familiarity with CRM (we use Salesforce)  

 

Eligibility Criteria  

  • Currently working towards your bachelor's degree, expected graduation date December 2026 or May 2027 
  • Must be able to start on June 1, 2026  
  • Ability to travel to the office up to 3-4 times per week, in-office attendance required 

What you'll be doing:

  • Partner with Sales Development Representative and Account Executive teams to prospect organizations within territory and vertical  
  • Build pipeline using various outbound sales strategies 
  • Maintain a high volume of quality outreach via phone, email, and LinkedIn 
  • Responsible for tracking and recording notes in Salesforce    
  • Not settle for average, always striving to exceed quota   
  • Help other parts of the business as needed

Seismic's base salary for this position is USD $22.00/Hr. This position is eligible for commission in addition to base salary. The actual amount will be subject to the terms and conditions set in the commission plan.
