Director of Sales, Expansion - Velocity Accounts

A-LIGN is a leading provider of efficient cybersecurity compliance programs seeking a Director of Sales, Expansion – Velocity Accounts to lead and grow a high-performance team focused on customer expansion. The role oversees 5–10 sellers, drives quota attainment, partners cross-functionally to align go-to-market strategies, and builds a winning sales culture through coaching, hiring, and performance management.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and drive sales performance of a team of 5–10 sellers, taking accountability for quota attainment, revenue, productivity, and quality
  • Develop short- and long-term strategies to improve team performance, including technology, workflows, compensation, contests, and quality programs
  • Coach sellers and provide career development through performance metrics, evaluations, and regular feedback
  • Support scoping and selling activities and assist sellers in closing deals
  • Collaborate with marketing, sales ops, finance, L&D, product, and service delivery to align go-to-market messaging and resources
  • Deliver regular KPI reports to senior sales leadership (DVP) and act on performance insights
  • Address performance issues promptly and constructively to maintain a high-performance culture
  • Promote best-in-class customer care and a team-based environment

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (required)
  • Relevant professional certifications are a plus
