Role Overview:
As a Business Development Representative (BDR), you will generate new business by conducting outbound cold calls and qualifying leads for the sales team. Your focus is on growing the top of the sales funnel by identifying and engaging high-potential leads, ensuring a steady flow of qualified opportunities. You will manage your own pipeline, conduct follow-ups via email, and track progress using Salesforce and HubSpot. The ideal candidate has 2+ years of sales experience, understands buyer personas, and is motivated to drive results in a fast-paced environment.

Work Hours: 9 AM – 5 PM EST
Key Responsibilities:
Outbound Sales & Lead Qualification
Conduct high-volume outbound cold calls to potential clients and qualify leads based on predefined criteria.
Apply ideal customer profile (ICP) and buyer personas to identify the best prospects.
Engage with leads to assess needs and determine fit for the company’s offerings.
Move qualified leads through the pipeline, handing them off to the sales team for further engagement.
Pipeline Management & Follow-ups
Manage your own pipeline, ensuring timely follow-up to maintain engagement.
Use email outreach and follow-up strategies to nurture leads.
Ensure accurate CRM entry in Salesforce or HubSpot for all contacts, leads, and interactions.
Top of Funnel Growth
Generate a steady stream of high-quality leads through outbound efforts.
Drive lead generation initiatives via cold calling, email outreach, and prospecting activities.
Collaborate with sales and marketing to optimize outreach strategies and messaging.
CRM Management & Reporting
Track all lead interactions in Salesforce and HubSpot.
Report on lead generation activities, including calls made, leads qualified, and appointments scheduled.
Provide updates on pipeline health and progress.
Key Qualifications:
Experience & Skills
2+ years of experience in sales, focusing on outbound prospecting and lead qualification.
Proficiency with CRM tools like Salesforce or HubSpot.
Comfortable with dialer systems for high-volume outreach.
Fluent in English with strong verbal and written communication skills.
Understanding of ICP and buyer personas, preferably in Construction, to identify high-potential leads.
