Senior Technical Trainer, Avionics
Skills
- 5+ years developing and delivering technical training (aerospace maintenance or manufacturing preferred)
- Experience with LMS administration and content authoring tools
- Strong facilitation and classroom/virtual delivery skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Experience tracking attendance and compliance for training programs
- Ability to translate technical procedures into clear learning experiences
- Analytical approach to measuring and improving training effectiveness
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Avionics subject matter experts to identify and prioritize learning needs
- Develop instructor-led and virtual training content aligned to company learning standards
- Facilitate in-person and virtual training sessions; manage scheduling, materials, and attendance
- Maintain and organize Avionics learning assets in the LMS and ensure compliance tracking
- Measure training effectiveness through surveys and metrics, report findings, and drive continuous improvement
- Engage external vendors and partners for specialized training resources when needed
- Drive scalability and automation of training systems and processes
Education
- High School Diploma or GED (required)
