Skills
- Proven experience authoring and executing test plans for complex pneumatic and electrical systems
- Experience with high-pressure pneumatic leak checks and high-voltage electrical system checkouts
- Ability to design and commission pneumatic and electrical test equipment
- Skilled in failure and anomaly investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action execution
- Working knowledge of fluid, thermal, mechanical, and electrical engineering fundamentals
- Familiarity with safety standards, common test hazards, and mitigations
- Hands-on manufacturing and shop floor support experience
Responsibilities
- Design and commission new test assets and systems to enable or enhance production testing
- Author and optimize test sequences, plans, procedures, and operational processes
- Execute and supervise production testing campaigns and first-article validation
- Analyze test data, drive root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions for recurring discrepancies
- Define and standardize operational requirements to improve safety, data quality, and repeatability
- Provide hands-on shop floor support and feedback to drive design for manufacturability and testability
- Support workcenter development including tooling, safety, and capital equipment considerations
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline
- 2+ years of relevant technical experience in testing or manufacturing engineering
