Solution Engineer - job 1 of 2

NiCE is a global market leader in AI, cloud and digital solutions focused on customer experience, financial crime and public safety. The Solution Engineer will be the primary technical resource for field sales, leading technical discovery, crafting demonstrations, responding to RFIs/RFPs, and collaborating across sales and product teams to convert technical evaluations into wins.

Skills

  • Advanced knowledge of Workforce Management (WFM) principles and best practices.
  • Experience with WFM software; familiarity with NICE WFM is a strong plus.
  • Proficiency with data manipulation in Excel (pivot tables, formulas) and MS Access.
  • Working knowledge of relational databases such as MSSQL and Oracle and ability to craft basic queries.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills with ability to explain complex models clearly.
  • Experience supporting enterprise software sales and preparing RFI/RFP responses.
  • Understanding of ACD environments and routing rule concepts.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary technical resource for field sales throughout the evaluation and pre-sales process up to point-of-sale.
  • Conduct technical discovery and needs analysis with business and technical stakeholders.
  • Design and deliver tailored product demonstrations connecting features to customer business drivers.
  • Develop solution designs, validate technical fit, and document proposed architectures and workflows.
  • Respond to functional and technical RFI/RFP requirements and contribute to proposal content.
  • Collaborate closely with Account Executives, Solution Sales Executives, Product Management and other Solution Engineers.
  • Engage with executive and VP-level stakeholders to influence based on business value and technical considerations.
  • Analyze and manipulate customer data using Excel/MS Access and query relational databases to support demonstrations and design.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Engineering or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Relevant certifications or coursework in WFM, data analysis, or contact center technologies are beneficial.
