Sales Development Representative, Americas

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of Panopto. We are currently looking for a Sales Development Representative, Americas in the United States.

This role is ideal for a motivated sales professional eager to generate new business opportunities and contribute directly to revenue growth. You will own the process of qualifying leads from both inbound and outbound channels, collaborating closely with account executives to drive deals forward. Success in this position requires creativity, persistence, and the ability to communicate effectively with prospects across multiple industries. You will have the opportunity to shape your territory, recommend innovative outreach strategies, and play a key role in expanding the sales pipeline. Accountabilities

In this role, you will:

  • Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up, outbound calls, and email outreach.
  • Conduct discovery calls to understand prospect needs and qualify potential opportunities.
  • Attend trade shows and virtual events to identify and engage with potential customers.
  • Research accounts, identify key stakeholders, and generate interest to maintain and expand your prospect database.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to develop campaigns, initiate prospecting activities, and support account executives in closing deals.
  • Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales executives for further development and closure.
  • Contribute to initiatives that enhance the customer experience and support the sales team’s goals.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Fluency in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience using CRM systems such as Salesforce, and tools like Outreach or ZoomInfo.
  • Proven experience in inside sales or sales development, with a track record of converting prospects.
  • Strong skills in opportunity qualification, pre-call planning, and call management.
  • Comfort making dozens of calls per day and performing targeted outreach.
  • Ability to stay organized, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively.
  • Interest in continuous learning and willingness to try new approaches.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficiency with corporate productivity and web presentation tools.
  • Experience in technology or B2B sales.
  • History of successfully qualifying opportunities involving multiple decision-makers.
  • Demonstrated record of over-achieving quotas or targets.

This role offers:

  • Competitive total compensation of $70,000–$75,000 per year, including base salary ($48,000–$50,000) plus commission ($22,000–$25,000 on-target earnings).
