Director, Product Management - Billing (Remote - US)

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of ClickHouse. We are currently looking for a Director, Product Management – Billing in the United States.

We are seeking a Director of Product Management to lead the strategy and execution of billing and marketplace initiatives for a high-growth B2B SaaS environment. This role focuses on designing scalable, customer-friendly billing solutions, streamlining usage-based and subscription invoicing, and integrating cloud marketplace operations. You will collaborate closely with Finance, IT, Sales, and Operations teams to ensure accurate billing, smooth renewals, and compliance with financial standards. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in usage-based billing, cloud marketplaces, and back-office systems, coupled with strong technical acumen and strategic vision. Remote candidates across the United States are welcome.

Accountabilities

  • Define and execute the product roadmap for usage-based billing, invoicing, and cloud marketplace integrations.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for direct and marketplace billing, including AWS, Azure, and GCP.
  • Partner with engineering to develop metering enhancements, rating logic, and API integrations.
  • Ensure accurate, auditable linkage between usage data and invoiced amounts; implement operational metrics for billing accuracy and reconciliation.
  • Identify and resolve systemic issues that could lead to billing inconsistencies or revenue leakage.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, IT, Sales, and Operations to align platform automation with business objectives.
  • Support marketplace commerce activities, including listing configuration, usage reporting, payout reconciliation, and CSP-related programs.
  • 10+ years of product management experience in high-growth B2B SaaS companies.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with usage-based billing, metering, and cloud marketplace systems.
  • Proven expertise with direct billing models, committed spend contracts, and marketplace pay-as-you-go/private offers.
  • Deep understanding of product-led growth (PLG) and enterprise sales buying motions.
  • Strong technical knowledge of billing and marketplace operations, including usage metering, invoicing, reconciliation workflows, and API integrations.
  • Hands-on experience with modern billing stack components (e.g., Metronome, M3ter, Orb, Stripe, Tackle) and familiarity with Salesforce, Netsuite, and Mulesoft.
  • Excellent collaboration, communication, and leadership skills; able to work effectively with technical and executive stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail; able to dive deep into data and workflows to resolve issues.
  • U.S. based candidates only.
  • Competitive salary: $190,000–$260,000 annually depending on location and experience.
