As a Benefits and Payroll Specialist, you’ll play a vital role in enhancing the efficiency and scalability of our Organizational Development and People Systems (ODPS) department. Reporting directly to the Executive Director of ODPS, this is your opportunity to contribute to an innovative organization that values excellence and employee well-being.

What You’ll Do

In this dynamic role, you’ll oversee key HR functions, including payroll, benefits, onboarding/offboarding, and personnel records management. Here’s a glimpse of your responsibilities:

  • Benefits Administration: Manage comprehensive employee benefits programs (health, dental, vision, disability, 401(k), etc.), ensuring compliance and excellent communication with employees.
  • Payroll Management: Accurately process payroll and maintain compliance with tax laws, supporting audits and resolving employee inquiries.
  • Onboarding Excellence: Facilitate seamless new hire integration by managing documentation, introducing policies, and collaborating with managers.
  • Offboarding Support: Guide departing employees through the exit process, finalizing benefits and payroll while maintaining compliance.

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking a detail-oriented, proactive professional with a passion for HR. Our ideal candidate will have:

  • Required:
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in HR or a related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in HR operations.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong customer service skills and the ability to collaborate across teams.
  • Preferred:
  • Experience with payroll platforms like UKG, BambooHR, or WorkDay.
  • PHR or SHRM certification.

Location & Work Schedule

  • Hybrid position based in Blairsville, Pennsylvania.
  • Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. EST, with occasional evening/weekend needs.
  • Salary Range - $50,000 - $55,000
