Senior HR Operations Specialist

IMC is a global trading firm combining research and technology to provide essential market liquidity. We are seeking a highly organized Senior HR Operations Specialist to own benefits administration, support onboarding/offboarding, manage leave processes, partner with vendors and HRIS, and ensure smooth, compliant HR operations across the employee lifecycle.

Skills

  • 7-10 years progressive HR experience with benefits and HR operations
  • Proven experience leading benefits events and compliance activities (open enrollment, 401(k) audits)
  • Hands-on Workday experience and HRIS familiarity
  • Strong vendor management and stakeholder partnership skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • High integrity, discretion, and ability to manage sensitive information
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and strong organizational ability

Responsibilities

  • Administer day-to-day employee benefits including health, retirement, and supplemental plans
  • Lead annual benefits events (open enrollment, 401(k) audits, vendor transitions) including communications and testing
  • Serve as primary contact for benefits questions and life events in Workday
  • Review and manage leave requests in coordination with leave vendor and maintain records in Workday
  • Support onboarding (background checks, orientations, I-9) and offboarding (documentation, access removal)
  • Partner with HR Business Partners and vendors to ensure accurate tracking and execution of HR processes
  • Support global mobility data entry and act as liaison during mobility processes
  • Conduct audits to ensure compliance with HR policies and regulatory obligations
  • Partner with HRIS team to troubleshoot issues, implement enhancements, and drive automation
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of HR processes and policy development

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field required
  • HR certifications (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) are a plus
