Partner Account Manager, Orange County

Human Interest is a high-growth fintech on a mission to expand access to retirement benefits for employees of small and medium-sized businesses. The Partner Account Manager will develop, manage, and scale referral partnerships (tech partners, HCM providers, brokers, CPAs, and financial advisors) in the Orange County market to drive lead generation and revenue growth.

Skills

  • Proven relationship building and territory sales experience in the SMB channel
  • Quota-driven sales experience with a measurable track record of meeting targets
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for partner engagement and cross-functional collaboration
  • Comfortable using Salesforce (or similar CRM) to manage pipelines and forecast
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize, and operate in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • Willingness and ability to be in the field ~3 days per week in Orange County

Responsibilities

  • Develop, build, and amplify referral relationships with tech partners, HCM partners, benefit brokers, CPAs, and financial advisors in the SMB space
  • Create and expand strategic referral networks focused on lead generation and new partnership opportunities
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Marketing, Legal, and Finance to resolve partner issues and launch initiatives
  • Partner with Partner Marketing to design and execute co-marketing programs (events, webinars, email campaigns) to drive pipeline
  • Establish business goals and performance metrics with partners and execute go-to-market and demand-generation strategies
  • Track partner performance, maintain CRM records, and report on pipeline and revenue contribution

Education

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience
  • Relevant certifications or training in sales, partnerships, or finance are a plus
