Partner Account Manager, Sacramento

Human Interest is a high-growth fintech on a mission to expand retirement access for employees at small and medium-sized businesses. They are seeking a proactive, organized Partner Account Manager to develop and scale referral and strategic partnerships (tech partners, HCM, brokers, CPAs, and financial advisors) to drive lead generation and revenue across the SMB market.

Skills

  • Proven experience building and managing partner and referral relationships in the SMB space
  • Quota-driven sales orientation with track record of meeting targets
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration and project management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and stakeholder management
  • Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM to manage sales cycles and partner pipelines
  • Ability to travel and be in the field ~3 days per week

Responsibilities

  • Develop, build, and amplify referral relationships with tech partners, HCM partners, benefit brokers, CPAs, and financial advisors in the SMB space
  • Create and scale strategic referral networks and partnership programs focused on lead generation and new business opportunities
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Marketing, Legal, and Finance to resolve partner issues and implement solutions
  • Work with Partner Marketing to design and execute co-marketing and enablement initiatives (events, webinars, email campaigns)
  • Establish partner business goals and performance metrics and execute go-to-market and demand-generation activities
  • Manage partner pipeline and forecast contribution to overall sales targets and revenue goals

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent professional experience
  • Relevant business, sales, or finance coursework or certifications a plus
