✨The core mission of the Business Development Representative:

The BDR plays a vital role in building the sales pipeline to ensure the success and growth of our B2B solutions. As an BDR at HTB, your primary focus will involve conducting extensive market research to discover new potential business clients and initiating contact with them. The remaining time will be dedicated to qualifying leads through calls and collaborating with the sales team to develop effective BDR campaigns encompassing messages, calls, and emails.

🍺 The fellowship you’ll be joining:

You'll be part of a diverse revenue team, consisting of BDRs, AEs, Solution Engineers, Customer Success, and Marketing professionals.  As a Business Development Representative at HTB, you'll report to our BDR Head (US-based), who will guide your growth in the role, while working closely with AEs in your region.

  • Have a direct impact on the teams success, as the first point of contact for new HTB customers
  • Become a product expert and a brand ambassador for HTB  
  • Collaborate with Marketing and execute lead generation strategies to schedule a targeted number of appointments for the sales team

  • Your verbal and written communication skills in English are excellent

  • Good, positive attitude is a must!
  • Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques

  • OTE Compensation: $75,000 - 85,000 | with a 70% (base) - 30% (commissions) split. Commission uncapped.

🗺️ The Quest of Becoming Hack The Box’s BDR:

  • Level 1: To complete level one’s objective, submit your application.
  • Level 2: Complete a Video Interview, to demonstrate your communication skills and share some insights related to your previous achievements.
  • Level 3: Meet the regional sales leader. Level’s objective: connect with the sales leader and share with them your achievements. You'll need to complete an online competency assessment before your interview (at your own time).
  • Level 4: Meet with the Global Head of BDR. Level's objective: connect with the hiring manager and impress them with your skills.
  • Level 5: You've officially received an offer from HTB! To complete the last level and the Quest, all you need to do is accept the offer.

Important Note: This role is classified as non-exempt and is eligible for overtime. The expected schedule for this role is Monday - Friday, 40 hours a week. Additional hours must be approved in advance. HTB follows all federal and state overtime regulations.
