Director of Channel Sales

Guardz is a fast-growing cybersecurity startup (founded 2022) with $85M in funding and an all-in-one Secure & Insure platform focused on protecting SMBs. We are seeking an experienced Director of Channel Sales to recruit, enable, and scale distributor, marketplace, VAR, MSP, and MSSP partnerships globally, owning the full partner lifecycle and driving significant channel-sourced revenue.

Skills

  • Proven channel/partner sales experience with distributors, VARs, MSPs/MSSPs and marketplaces
  • Strong negotiation and deal-closing skills
  • Experience managing POCs and live demos
  • Ability to develop and execute partner GTM strategies
  • CRM and pipeline management proficiency
  • Data-driven reporting and KPI management
  • Excellent interpersonal and executive communication skills
  • Cross-functional collaboration and program development

Responsibilities

  • Conduct daily sales outreach and qualification of prospective channel partners.
  • Manage the full sales cycle with strategic partners from discovery through demos, POCs, negotiation, and closure.
  • Develop and execute a scalable global channel strategy for distributors, marketplaces, VARs, MSPs, and MSSPs.
  • Own the partner lifecycle: onboarding, enablement, technical support, joint GTM and revenue acceleration.
  • Design and operationalize channel programs, POC frameworks, demo playbooks, and enablement tracks.
  • Define and hit aggressive channel revenue targets and KPIs in coordination with executive leadership.
  • Serve as the executive liaison to key partners, building C-level relationships and joint business plans.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, marketing, product, customer success, and operations to align resources and resolve partner issues.
  • Represent Guardz at industry and partner events to build brand presence and generate partner leads.
  • Establish structured reporting on partner pipeline health, conversion metrics, and program ROI.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Advanced degree (MBA) or equivalent experience is a plus
