Account Manager

Canto is a leading digital asset management (DAM) company serving 4,000+ customers worldwide. The Account Manager will own customer relationships, drive adoption and expansion, coordinate cross-functional teams, and ensure renewals by delivering value-based strategic plans and strong account health management.

Skills

  • 3–5 years in customer success, account management, or CSM role in SaaS
  • Proven upsell/expansion track record
  • Strong Salesforce proficiency and pipeline/forecasting skills
  • Experience with ChurnZero and Pendo or similar customer engagement tools
  • Ability to analyze account data and produce actionable recommendations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication with executive-level stakeholders
  • Strong project, time and documentation management skills

Responsibilities

  • Manage assigned customer portfolio to drive adoption, retention, and expansion
  • Maintain accurate account records and next steps in Salesforce
  • Execute renewal cycles 120–90 days before subscription end dates
  • Develop 12-month strategic roadmaps and perform regular account health checks
  • Identify upsell and expansion opportunities and build business cases
  • Collaborate with Sales, Implementation, Product and Support to resolve issues and deliver seamless experiences
  • Monitor customer health metrics and proactively remediate risks
  • Prepare and present value-based messaging to executive stakeholders
  • Research customer context (funding, hiring, stakeholders, metrics) to inform expansion strategies
  • Escalate at-risk accounts and support timely resolution of customer concerns

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience preferred
  • Relevant coursework or certification in business, marketing, or related fields is a plus
