Account Manager, SMB

Braze is a leading customer engagement platform focused on helping brands build meaningful, cross-channel relationships. The company is seeking an Account Manager for its SMB portfolio to drive renewals and upsells, act as the commercial owner for a book of growth customers, and collaborate with Product, Success, Sales, and Marketing teams to maximize customer value.

Skills

  • Proven SaaS account management and sales experience
  • Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred)
  • Strong presentation and communication skills
  • Analytical ability to interpret product usage and identify growth signals
  • Familiarity with email, mobile, web channels and marketing automation
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Project management and time-management skills
  • Effective networking and relationship-building skills

Responsibilities

  • Own commercial relationship for a portfolio of SMB growth customers, drive renewals and upsells to meet targets
  • Analyze customer product usage and identify expansion opportunities
  • Develop and maintain deep product and industry knowledge to advise customers
  • Communicate customer feedback and feature requests to the product team
  • Coordinate cross-functional resources (Success, Sales, Product, Legal, Marketing) to support adoption
  • Manage transitions from pre-sales through onboarding into ongoing service
  • Deliver presentations and demos; maintain pipeline and accurate CRM records
  • Regularly travel for onsite customer meetings and engagement

Education

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • Relevant coursework or training in business, marketing, or related field is a plus
