Key Account Manager

ACT Group is a sustainability-focused company offering carbon credit trading, SaaS solutions to measure environmental footprints, and trade settlement platforms. We are seeking an experienced Key Account Manager to own strategic account plans, grow revenue across assigned enterprise clients, and build trusted relationships with C-suite, sustainability leaders, and procurement teams while coordinating cross-functional delivery.

Skills

  • Enterprise sales and strategic account planning
  • Deep knowledge of sustainability principles and environmental regulations
  • Experience with carbon credits and carbon markets
  • SaaS product sales experience
  • Strong presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Data-driven decision making and analytical problem solving
  • Proficiency with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce)

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to drive revenue growth and hit sales targets within assigned key accounts
  • Build and maintain trust-based relationships with C-suite executives, sustainability leads, and procurement teams
  • Conduct thorough needs assessments to align solutions with clients' sustainability objectives and pain points
  • Present and position portfolio offerings (carbon credit trading, SaaS footprint measurement, trade settlement platforms) with clear value propositions
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, marketing, and customer success to ensure seamless delivery and client satisfaction
  • Monitor industry trends, market dynamics, and regulatory changes to anticipate client needs and adapt account strategies
  • Manage contractual negotiations, deal structuring, and commercial terms to close enterprise deals
  • Travel as needed to client sites and the NYC office for meetings and implementation support

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Environmental Science, or related field required
  • MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred
