Sharpcontra is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Event Coordinator to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for organizing, executing, and managing a wide range of events from concept through completion. This role requires strong organizational skills, the ability to multitask under pressure, and a commitment to excellence in every detail.
Responsibilities
Plan and coordinate corporate, promotional, and private events from start to finish
Liaise with clients to understand their objectives, budgets, and expectations
Coordinate with vendors, venues, and internal team members to ensure smooth execution
Manage event timelines, logistics, permits, and documentation
Conduct site visits and supervise on-site event setup and breakdown
Monitor budgets and process invoices and expense reports
Ensure events comply with safety, legal, and quality standards
Provide post-event analysis and feedback for continuous improvement
Qualifications
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Communications, or related field
1–3 years of proven experience in event coordination or project management
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work well under pressure
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed
