Reporting to the Principal HRBP, the HRBP will partner closely with business units to deliver on initiatives that advance our strategic goals. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for your client groups advising on performance management, career development, and engagement. You’ll ensure employees feel heard and translate feedback into meaningful actions.

You will also coach and support managers to build confidence in their leadership, while collaborating with senior leaders to provide regular insights into team health and culture.

Your impact will be seen through the success of people initiatives that shape our employee experience, as well as the effective delivery of projects that strengthen both our department and the broader organization.

This is a remote opportunity within the US.


What we’re looking for:

• 2–4+ years as an HR Business Partner, ideally in a fast-growing tech or software environment.

• Experience supporting distributed and remote teams.

• Growth mindset: resourceful, adaptable, and curious - comfortable navigating ambiguity and learning quickly.

• Strong business judgment with a people-first approach; able to balance strategy and empathy.

• Proven ability to build credibility and influence leaders at all levels.

• Excellent EQ, listening skills, and communication - skilled at handling sensitive conversations with professionalism (bonus points if you love Slack emojis 🤗).

• Experience using HRM tools (e.g., UKG, Ashby, Charthop) and openness to adopting AI tools to enhance efficiency and decision-making.

• High ownership, confidentiality, and attention to detail, with a knack for organizing and documenting processes.

• Self-starter who thrives in an independent, fast-paced environment while knowing when to ask for support.

• Act as a trusted partner to business units, advising on performance management, career growth, and engagement.

• Provide thoughtful, people-first interpretation of HR policies while aligning with business needs.

• Analyze trends and metrics to shape programs, policies, and solutions that enhance the employee experience.

• Partner with leaders to deliver insights on organizational health and culture.

• Leverage HRM data and AI tools to create compelling narratives and data-driven recommendations.

• Drive high-quality execution of HR initiatives and projects, identifying opportunities to scale processes, tools, and systems.

• Contribute to building a learning-oriented, growth mindset culture across the organization.

USA-based roles only: The annual base salary for this role is between $108,000 USD and $146,000 USD, plus immediate participation in 1Password's benefits program (health, dental, 401k and many others), utilization of our generous paid time off, an equity grant and, where applicable, participation in our incentive programs.

While we are a remote-first company, travel for in-person engagement is a part of almost all roles, and we require our employees to be ready and willing to take part.
