Overview

The HR Specialist is responsible for supporting the Corporate Services HR business partner on projects, programs and reporting in support of the business. This position is ideal for professionals early in their career who are eager to build their career in Human Resources. The successful candidate will have strong skills in PowerPoint and Excel, along with excellent organizational and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Generate reports and analyze data using Excel and HR analytics tools to support HR initiatives and decision-making.
• Track and report on HR metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of HR programs.
• Program management for annual HR programs such as talent review, compensation planning, annual engagement surveys and other programs
• Prepare and deliver presentations using PowerPoint for HR meetings
• Support the planning and execution of employee engagement activities and events.
• Develop and maintain project plans for HR initiatives, ensuring timely completion and alignment with company goals.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to implement HR projects and programs.
• Some coordination and administrative work as required.

Qualifications

• 2 years experience in Human Resources or related field.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to tasks.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
