Account Manager

Vertice is a fast-growing startup transforming how companies manage SaaS and cloud spend, backed by a Series C round and leading investors. We’re looking for an Account Manager to own renewal strategies, drive retention and expansion, and act as the primary commercial contact for customers post-sale to protect and grow recurring revenue.

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end renewal cycle, ensuring timely, negotiated contract renewals aligned with customer needs and company goals
  • Serve as the commercial lead and trusted advisor for customers post-sale, building strong executive relationships
  • Conduct strategic account reviews and ROI-based discussions to demonstrate Vertice’s value
  • Identify expansion and upsell opportunities and coordinate internal teams to deliver compelling proposals
  • Forecast and report on renewal pipelines, retention metrics, and commercial risks
  • Collaborate with Product, Customer Success, and Procurement teams to surface customer feedback and influence roadmap
  • Champion the customer voice internally while prioritizing commercial outcomes and account growth

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred (or equivalent practical experience)
  • Relevant coursework or training in business, finance, or related fields is a plus
