Partnership Relationship Manager

Job Summary:

The Partnership Relationship Manager is a strategic individual contributor responsible for developing, managing, and strengthening relationships with external partners. This role serves as the primary liaison between the company and its partners, overseeing the full partnership lifecycle—from onboarding and implementation to ongoing engagement, performance evaluation, and renewal. The manager drives partner success through proactive support, performance analysis, and cross-functional collaboration with teams such as Sales, Product, Implementation, and Legal. Ideal candidates bring strong relationship-building skills, industry knowledge (preferably in insurance or professional services), and a consultative mindset to foster trust, increase partner value, and support long-term business growth.

Responsibilities:

The Partnership Relationship Manager is a highly visible, strategic role dedicated to managing and strengthening the organization's relationships with external partners. Operating as a key liaison between our company and our partner’s organizations, this role is responsible for building trust-based partnerships that support long-term revenue growth, partner retention, and operational excellence. This position plays a central role in advancing our partnership strategy by ensuring the successful execution of partnership initiatives, facilitating seamless onboarding, and delivering proactive account support that aligns with business goals and partners expectations.

Working as an individual contributor with significant cross-functional impact, the Partnership Relationship Manager oversees the full partnership lifecycle from initial relationship development and implementation through ongoing engagement, performance evaluation, and renewal strategy. The role requires the ability to navigate complex partner needs while aligning them with internal operational and strategic priorities. This includes serving as the primary day-to-day contact for a portfolio of partners, resolving escalated issues, and driving communication across departments such as Sales, Implementation, Marketing, Product, and Legal.

The manager will also analyze broker performance data, monitor compliance with partnership agreements, and identify new opportunities to increase partner value and effectiveness through tailored solutions, marketing collaboration, or program enhancements. A consultative mindset, combined with exceptional communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills, is essential to success in this role.

The ideal candidate brings a high level of professionalism, industry knowledge (preferably in insurance, employee benefits, or professional services), and a proven track record of managing external partnerships. This role is well-suited for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can work independently, and has the ability to influence without authority while juggling multiple priorities.
