Who we’re looking for
Toyota Talent Acquisition Department is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Talent Acquisition Analyst. The primary responsibility of this role is to forecast hiring volumes, optimize recruiter staffing, and develop insightful KPIs that drive recruiting performance and quality. Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Senior Manager, this role will support Toyota’s mission to build a world-class workforce by delivering data-driven insights that enhance recruiting effectiveness and operational excellence.
What you’ll be doing
In this role, you will be the analytical engine behind our recruiting operations, turning data into actionable strategies that ensure we meet our hiring goals efficiently. Success means enabling the Talent Acquisition team to anticipate needs, measure impact, and continuously improve through clear, insightful reporting and analysis.
Own the forecasting of hiring volumes and translate these forecasts into recruiter staffing plans that maximize efficiency and meet business demands.
Develop, implement, and maintain KPIs that track recruiting activity, recruiter workload, performance, and quality assurance to drive continuous improvement.
Gather, cleanse, and maintain high-quality recruiting data to ensure accuracy and reliability in all reporting and analysis.
Create and deliver dynamic reports and dashboards that provide real-time visibility into recruiting metrics and trends for leadership and stakeholders.
Conduct in-depth analyses to identify correlations, root causes, and trends within recruiting operations, providing actionable insights that influence strategy and process improvements.
Collaborate closely with recruiters, HR partners, and business leaders to align data insights with operational goals and support decision-making.
Champion data quality best practices and promote a culture of data-driven recruiting excellence across the team.
What you bring
Bachelor’s degree that provides a strong foundation in data analysis, business, human resources, or a related field; AND/OR commensurate experience.
3+ years of experience in talent acquisition analytics, recruiting operations, or workforce planning where you’ve driven data-informed decisions.
Proven ability to develop and manage KPIs and dashboards that measure recruiting performance and operational effectiveness.
Strong skills in data gathering, cleansing, and quality assurance to ensure reliable and actionable insights.
Proficiency with data visualization and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau) and experience with ATS (e.g. Workday, Phenom, etc.) or related HRIS systems.
Analytical mindset with experience in both quantitative and qualitative methods, skilled in conducting correlation, cause-and-effect, and trend analyses to support strategic recommendations.
Excellent communication skills to translate complex data into clear, compelling narratives for various audiences.
Added bonus if you have
Advanced degree or certification in data analytics, HR analytics, or business intelligence that deepens your expertise.
Experience working in a high-volume recruiting environment or within the automotive industry.
Familiarity with statistical software or programming languages (e.g., SQL, Python, R, etc.) to enhance data analysis capabilities.
Prior experience leading cross-functional projects or initiatives that improved recruiting processes or technology adoption.
Passion for continuous learning and innovation in talent acquisition analytics to drive Toyota’s competitive advantage.
