Account Executive - Mid-Market - Remote

Steer provides an integrated suite of CRM, scheduling, phone and marketing tools for automotive repair shops and multi-location operators. The Mid-Market Account Executive will source, manage and close new business with 4–30 location operators, running outbound-heavy, multi-stakeholder sales processes and partnering with BDRs and leadership to scale Steer’s presence in the mid-market.

Skills

  • Proven quota-carrying SaaS closing experience
  • Strong outbound prospecting and pipeline generation skills
  • Experience managing multi-step, multi-stakeholder sales cycles
  • Excellent discovery, qualification and objection-handling abilities
  • Clear communication with owners and regional decision-makers
  • Comfortable in a fast-moving, high-change startup/growth environment
  • Familiarity with CRM tools (HubSpot) and sales forecasting best practices

Responsibilities

  • Source and close new business with 4–30 location operators across tire and full-service segments
  • Own the full sales cycle from outbound prospecting to demo, negotiation and contract close
  • Build multi-threaded relationships with owners, regional directors and operational stakeholders
  • Create clear ROI narratives tied to scheduling, CRM and marketing automation workflows
  • Partner with BDRs to validate and advance early-stage opportunities
  • Maintain pipeline hygiene and forecast accuracy in HubSpot
  • Provide structured product and market feedback to Product, Marketing and CS
  • Represent Steer at industry events and partner engagements when applicable

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
  • Relevant professional sales training or certifications are a plus
