Business Development Representative

Spaulding Ridge is an advisory and IT implementation firm specializing in data analytics, cloud engineering, and business intelligence. They seek a Business Development Representative to generate and qualify leads, support sales pipelines, and build client relationships while advancing data-driven business solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and prospect new business opportunities via outbound outreach including email, phone, LinkedIn, and events
  • Collaborate with marketing to develop targeted campaigns and messaging
  • Maintain accurate CRM records of client and prospect interactions
  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitors, and company service offerings
  • Support sales team in pipeline development and strategic account planning
  • Assist Managing Directors and Principal Architects in managing complex sales cycles and presenting value
  • Generate pipeline leveraging strategic relationships, demand generation tools, and marketing automation
  • Develop qualified prospects through follow-ups on marketing leads, event attendees, and outbound calls/emails
  • Collaborate with technology partners on co-selling data solution opportunities
  • Exceed sales metrics including weekly and monthly forecasts, meeting, and call objectives
  • Identify cross-sell opportunities across various practice areas
  • Uphold company values in all interactions

Education

  • Relevant post-secondary education preferred but not explicitly required
