Role Overview

 

Sodexo is seeking a dynamic career opportunity for a Human Resources Manager 2 for Erlanger Health system located in Chattanooga, TN.  We are looking for a dedicated Recruiter to join our HR Team in identifying hiring needs and filling job openings for multi-campuses.  The responsibilities of the Recruiter include:  identifying future hiring needs, sourcing candidates through databases and social media, and conducting interviews. This role will provide on-site support to approximately 35 Sodexo managers and 644 hourly employees on all hospital/Sodexo policies and procedures, HR initiatives and training. This position will have a heavy focus on hourly staff recruitment, onboarding new employees, providing onboarding and staff training, and developing relationships in the community.  Previous Human Resources experience in a healthcare operation would be helpful. 

 

A successful Recruiter has excellent interpersonal skills, is organized and detail oriented, remains up to date with employment legislature, and keeps informed in company hiring programs.  The ideal candidate for the position will be a high energy self-starting individual. A good Recruiter can assess candidates' skills, experience and relevant knowledge and compare them to job requirements.  Must be proficient in Excel and have knowledge/usage of applicant tracking systems and data analytics. Candidate will be responsible for meeting the hiring goals by filing open positions with talented and qualified candidates.  This will include sourcing and screening candidates, coordinating the interview process, and facilitating offers and employment negotiations, all while ensuring candidates have a pleasant experience. This role will also be responsible for sourcing and attracting candidates by using social media and building strong relationships within the community and surrounding areas.

  • demonstrate strong verbal, written and presentation skills;
  • have a solid understanding of HR functions and all policies and procedures.
  • Identifying future frontline hiring needs and collaborating with Department Managers to compile a consistent list of requirements.
  • Attracting suitable candidates through databases, job fairs, social media, etc.
  • Conducting interviews and sorting through applicants to fill open positions.
  • Completing paperwork for new hires.
  • Promoting the company's reputation and attractiveness as a good employment opportunity.
  • Providing recruitment data to team managers and other leadership.
