Human Resource Manager

SUMMARY

The Human Resources Manager is accountable for providing support to the overall execution and operation of all personnel, HR, and recruiting services throughout T&R Properties and all affiliates. The Human Resources Manager is accountable for managing the recruiting, hiring, and staffing of all personnel throughout T&R Properties and all affiliates. This position is to monitor all employee relations while implementing company policies and procedures. Furthermore, the Human Resources Manager is to assist in all aspects of the payroll process as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) or equivalent combination of education and experience.  
  • Intermediate 
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office is required, advanced knowledge is preferred
  • Attendance, work ethic and strong interpersonal skills are required for success in this position
  • Must have the ability to clearly articulate thoughts and ideas and have strong written communication skills 
  • Ability to work overtime as needed
  • Property Management experience preferred

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide prompt and superior customer service to all employees. Be responsive and respectful. Be friendly and helpful. Be prompt, confidential, and complete.
  • Ongoing recruitment to build a pipeline of potential candidates.
  • Explore all channels of recruitment: online, outreach recruiting, job fairs, etc.
  • Work with management to hire for open positions and identify potential openings.
  • Prescreen new hire candidates and coordinate interviews.
  • Manage pre-employment testing for appropriate candidates: writing samples, PES/Maintenance testing.
  • Manage background check process: credit/criminal, employment verification, V-3.
  • Generate offer letters to acceptable candidates per President and/or CFO.
  • Coordinate and generate all pre-employment testing: physical and/or drug screen.
  • Organize with management and produce user access form and PAF.
  • Organize start date for new hire paperwork.
  • Assist new hire through on boarding paperwork and coordinate orientation/training.
  • Maintain communication with management on staffing developments and/or changes.
  • Participate in daily/weekly meetings with management regarding personnel.
  • Manage and sustain the staffing grid for personnel organization and documentation.
  • Plan, manage, and communicate projects and programs: employee luncheons, quarterly meetings/mixers, birthday and employment anniversary rewards, etc.
  • Coordinate and implement employee recognition programs and rewards.
  • Work with management on employee goals and/or correctives.
  • Identify and resolve employee concerns and/or issues.
  • Coach and counsel employees regarding HR practices, policies, and procedures.
  • Assist in any and all aspects of payroll as needed.
  • Coordinate, implement, and assist in all phases of: benefits, workers compensation, unemployment, risk management, safety meetings, etc.
  • Draft, develop, review, implement, and adhere to all company policies and procedures in accordance with the President and/or CFO.
  • Assist in receivables and/or payables regarding HR related billing.
  • Manage and sustain all HR related documentation and data entry while maintaining the highest level of confidentiality.

Pay: From $65,000.00 per year
