Business Development Representative, US

SingleStore is a fast-growing, cloud-native database company headquartered in San Francisco. They are hiring motivated Business Development Representatives to join a high-performing Sales Development team focused on outbound prospecting into account-based territories for commercial and enterprise accounts. The ideal candidate is a hungry, organized communicator with experience executing high-volume outbound cadences and a drive to build a career in enterprise software sales.

Skills

  • 1+ years SDR/BDR experience in software (or equivalent)
  • Proven success running high-volume outbound cadences
  • Experience with Salesforce, Outreach.io, ZoomInfo, and LinkedIn
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • High business acumen and ability to learn DBMS concepts quickly
  • Comfortable cold outreach to executive and technical buyers
  • Highly organized and able to work autonomously

Responsibilities

  • Generate a qualified sales pipeline for targeted accounts ($100M - $1B ARR)
  • Prospect actively via phone, email, and social media with a roughly 50:50 outbound/inbound split
  • Partner with up to 4 Account Executives on account plans and prospecting strategies
  • Identify and engage key stakeholders to create sales opportunities
  • Maintain alignment and open communication with Account Executives and management
  • Quickly learn SingleStore value proposition and the database market landscape
  • Consistently meet or exceed monthly qualified opportunity quotas and prospecting activity targets

Education

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience
  • Sales training is a plus but not required
