Role
We’re seeking an Area Sales Manager based in the US (Chicago preferred, remote flexibility) to drive new client acquisition and grow the eCommerce product portfolio. The BDM will play a key role in identifying opportunities, managing client relationships, and expanding the company’s footprint across North America.
What You’ll Do
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the eCommerce and digital commerce sector.
Build and nurture relationships with enterprise clients and decision-makers.
Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve growth targets.
Collaborate with solution architects and delivery teams to tailor proposals to client needs.
Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings.
Maintain accurate pipeline and forecasting in CRM.
Your Background
4+ years of experience in business development or sales within technology services.
Strong understanding of eCommerce platforms and products (e.g., Shopify, Magento, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, BigCommerce).
Proven track record in closing B2B deals and exceeding revenue targets.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Self-starter mindset, ability to work independently in a remote setup.
Based in the US, ideally in the Chicago area, with a willingness to travel as needed.
