Account Manager

Simpplr is an AI-powered digital workplace platform used by more than 1,000 leading organizations to unify engagement, enablement, and services. The company seeks an experienced Account Manager to manage and grow a named portfolio, driving product adoption, renewals, upsells, and long-term customer value while partnering closely with Customer Success, Professional Services, Support, and Product teams.

Skills

  • Minimum 5+ years in direct sales or account management, preferably in technology/software.
  • Proven track record of exceeding quota in SaaS/enterprise sales and driving portfolio growth.
  • Experience navigating complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise sales cycles.
  • Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and executive-level engagement skills.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems (Salesforce) and enterprise collaboration, HR, or intranet platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and expand a portfolio of named customer accounts to achieve ARR growth targets through retention and upsell/cross-sell.
  • Develop account plans based on customer business objectives, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
  • Lead business reviews, regular check-ins, and executive relationships to ensure value alignment and long-term partnership.
  • Identify, qualify, and close expansion opportunities and negotiate renewals.
  • Coordinate with Customer Success, Professional Services, Support, and Product teams to ensure smooth onboarding, adoption, and issue resolution.
  • Maintain accurate account records, pipeline, and forecasts in Salesforce and prepare account status reports for stakeholders.
  • Advocate for customer needs internally and contribute insights to product and marketing strategies.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
  • Relevant sales or industry certifications a plus (e.g., Salesforce certifications).
