Account Executive, Commercial (Tennessee)

Pure Storage is a market-leading provider of all-flash enterprise storage and data solutions, focused on simplifying data infrastructure and driving customer outcomes. They are seeking an experienced Account Executive to own Commercial accounts in Tennessee, lead pursuit teams, develop account plans, drive new logo acquisition, and consistently exceed quarterly and annual quotas.

Skills

  • Proven outside sales experience with new logo acquisition
  • Strong prospecting and pipeline management skills
  • Ability to lead complex sales cycles with multiple stakeholders
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Territory planning and account management expertise
  • Track record of consistently exceeding quota and delivering $5M–$10M annually
  • Customer-focused approach with passion for post-sales success
  • Comfortable working with partners and cross-functional teams

Responsibilities

  • Evangelize Pure Storage’s all‑flash storage and data solutions to demonstrate value and ROI
  • Build and deepen customer relationships to drive satisfaction and long-term partnerships
  • Lead pursuit teams and develop account plans to coordinate internal and partner resources
  • Drive and manage a robust sales pipeline to meet or exceed quarterly and annual quotas
  • Conduct team-selling with internal teammates and strategic partners to close deals
  • Prospect and open new accounts, positioning Pure’s portfolio to solve customer challenges
  • Manage territory planning, forecasting, and reporting to maximize revenue efficiency
  • Collaborate with post-sales teams to ensure customer success and referenceable outcomes

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent practical sales experience
  • Relevant sales or industry certifications are a plus
