Strategic SDR Manager

Motive provides a unified platform that helps operations teams manage drivers, vehicles, equipment, and fleet spend with AI-driven visibility and automation. We're seeking a Strategic SDR Manager to lead and optimize an upmarket outbound Sales Development team focused on generating high-quality pipeline for Account Executives. The ideal candidate is a data-driven coach with proven leadership in B2B SaaS outbound sales and strong experience using modern sales tools and methodologies.

Skills

  • Proven leadership and coaching skills for high-performing SDR teams
  • Strong experience with Salesforce and SalesLoft or similar sales engagement platforms
  • Data-driven approach to coaching and pipeline generation
  • Deep understanding of outbound prospecting, qualification frameworks, and objection handling
  • Excellent cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Marketing, Sales Ops, and BI

Responsibilities

  • Manage, coach, and develop a team of outbound Sales Development Representatives through accountability, training, and ongoing feedback
  • Drive the team to meet or exceed monthly quota and activity targets
  • Collaborate with AEs, Regional Sales Managers, Marketing, Sales Ops, and BI to align on qualification criteria and handoff processes
  • Monitor and maintain CRM hygiene and report key performance metrics
  • Implement and refine outbound prospecting strategies, sales methodologies, and tools to improve meeting quality and conversion

Education

  • Bachelor's degree required
