Macmillan Learning is seeking a Human Resources Assistant to support various administrative functions within the HR team, aiding areas such as onboarding, talent acquisition, and data management in a dynamic, innovative environment.
Responsibilities: Key responsibilities include maintaining organizational charts, managing the contractor database, processing employee changes, onboarding new hires, and providing assistance with HR-related inquiries.
Skills: Candidates should possess excellent organizational and communication skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office and GSuite, and the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment.
Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree and preferred experience in a Human Resources setting or with HRIS databases are among the qualifications sought.
Location: This position is located in New York, New York, and requires 1-2 days a week in the office.

The HR Assistant provides administrative support to the Macmillan Learning HR team in a variety of areas including employee hires, changes and terminations, talent acquisition, culture management, data analysis, and process improvement. They will also be the main point of contact during new hire onboarding and will be able to tell employees where to find HR related information.

Requires periods of close concentration in a sometimes busy and open office; must be able to multi-task. Must be able to work over 40 hours a week occasionally.
This is a hybrid role. 1-2 days a week are required in the NYC office.
