Job Summary: The Talent Operations Specialist plays a critical role in the daily execution and support of LSU’s hiring processes. This role ensures the accurate and timely processing of talent acquisition transactions in Workday and supports departments and hiring managers throughout the recruitment life-cycle. The Talent Operations Specialist is detail-oriented, organized, and service-focused, ensuring a seamless experience for both internal stakeholders and candidates.
Job Responsibilities:
35%- Recruitment Process Support - Process and monitor recruitment and hiring transactions in Workday for faculty and staff positions in assigned units. Assist with job postings, applicant tracking, offer processing, and onboarding documentation. Review candidate materials for minimum qualifications and coordinate pre-screening and routing steps. Serve as a point of contact for departments regarding transaction status and next steps.
25%- System and Workflow Management - Ensure data integrity across recruitment-related records and transactions in Workday. Identify and resolve transactional issues, collaborating with central HRM teams as needed. Maintain and update documentation of recruitment workflows and support materials.
20%- Talent Operations - Perform necessary administrative tasks within Workday to support recruitment, such as candidate progression, job requisition updates, and offer processing. Ensure data accuracy and compliance with university and system policies. Support testing efforts as it relates to Talent Acquisition system updates and modifications in the University's HCM system.
15%- Collaboration and Projects - Collaborate within HRM to develop recruiting trainings and tools for hiring managers. Collaborate with HRM Compensation to establish college/departmental partnerships and strengthen hiring plan strategy and execution. Work collaboratively with Senior Partners on career fairs, talent pipelines, etc.
5%- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree with some professional experience.
