Skills
- Active California RN license and clinical nursing proficiency
- Experience in occupational health, workers' compensation, ADA, OSHA, FMLA
- Proficiency with electronic health record systems and Microsoft Office
- Ability to conduct ergonomic assessments and environmental exposure follow-up
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to work with a sense of urgency in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical nursing care and management of occupational health conditions on the factory floor
- Perform follow-up care and treatment to ensure effectiveness of medical interventions
- Lead and coordinate health promotion initiatives, screenings, and educational programs
- Maintain accurate, confidential employee medical records and incident documentation
- Coordinate wellness programs, employee health fairs, and related activities
- Refer employees to Employee Assistance Programs and external resources as needed
- Assess and follow up on environmental exposures and workplace hazards
- Facilitate ergonomic evaluations and reasonable accommodation requests
- Collaborate with HR, Security, and Facilities on safety, compliance, and wellbeing
- Participate in clinical nursing audits and develop strategies for 100% compliance
- Develop, document, and implement medical procedures and workplace health protocols
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Education
- Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license required
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
