Occupational Nurse

Fender Musical Instruments Corporation, a global leader in musical instruments, is seeking an Occupational Registered Nurse to support employee health, safety, and wellness at its Corona, CA manufacturing site. The RN will provide clinical care for workplace injuries and exposures, coordinate wellness initiatives, maintain confidential medical records, and collaborate with HR, Security, and Facilities to uphold regulatory compliance and site-specific safety standards.

Skills

  • Active California RN license and clinical nursing proficiency
  • Experience in occupational health, workers' compensation, ADA, OSHA, FMLA
  • Proficiency with electronic health record systems and Microsoft Office
  • Ability to conduct ergonomic assessments and environmental exposure follow-up
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to work with a sense of urgency in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish

Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical nursing care and management of occupational health conditions on the factory floor
  • Perform follow-up care and treatment to ensure effectiveness of medical interventions
  • Lead and coordinate health promotion initiatives, screenings, and educational programs
  • Maintain accurate, confidential employee medical records and incident documentation
  • Coordinate wellness programs, employee health fairs, and related activities
  • Refer employees to Employee Assistance Programs and external resources as needed
  • Assess and follow up on environmental exposures and workplace hazards
  • Facilitate ergonomic evaluations and reasonable accommodation requests
  • Collaborate with HR, Security, and Facilities on safety, compliance, and wellbeing
  • Participate in clinical nursing audits and develop strategies for 100% compliance
  • Develop, document, and implement medical procedures and workplace health protocols
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Education

  • Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license required
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
