Position Summary
The Head of HR, Americas is responsible for managing the human resources function
responsible for supporting team members within all legal entities.
Position Summary:
This role encompasses two primary areas of responsibility: overseeing all HR operations (hire-
to-retire) for our client’s 450 employees across the Americas and serving as a strategic HR Business
Partner to the region's Business Units.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership for the HR Team in the Service Unit (SU) Americas
Responsible for all HR activities in the Organization in the Americas (USA, Mexico,
Colombia, Brazil, Argentina).
Leadership for the HR Team in the SU Americas
- 4 HR Business Partners (2 USA/Houston & Tampa, 1 Mexico/Mexico City, 1 Brazil/Sao
Paulo)
- 3 HR Operations Manager (1 USA/Tampa, 1 LATAM/Mexico City, 1 Brazil/Sao Paulo
- 2 Operational Excellence Specialists (2 Mexico City)
Accountable for the HR Organization in the SU Americas to achieve the strategic and operational
objectives.
Leadership for developing the HR Business Partner Community in the Americas / fostering
strong collaboration between the 4 Regional HR Business Partner.
Responsible for leading a strong collaboration with the HR Business Partner in the other region,
especially Crop Solutions Europe/Asia.
Act as a liaison with the client’s Corporate HR located in Hamburg, Germany, and the HR roles
and responsibilities in the SU Americas
Strategic Alignment & Execution
• Translating the Corporate HR strategies, frameworks, and global processes into
actionable regional plans
• Ensuring, that regional HR activities are aligned with global priorities and compliant with
local regulations
• Partner with the Corporate HR Center of Excellence and the HR Team of the Service Unit
Americas
• Supporting a strong cooperation/teamwork between the regional HR team Americas and
the Corporate HR Center of Excellence to achieve best possible synergies and
development of feasible, compliant, efficient and finally added-value-creating
processes and tools (primary liaison)
• Ensuring efficient and effective collaboration on the rollout of global initiatives (e.g.,
leadership development, DE&I, digital HR tools)
• Representing regional HR interests in global forums and contributing to cross-regional
knowledge sharing.
HR Business Partner Head Business Unit (BU) Crop Solutions
Supporting the Head of the BU Crop Solutions (located in Tampa/Florida) and his Global
Leadership Team in all “trans-regional” topics.
Aligning the activities of the Regional HR Business Partner Crop Solutions in the Americas,
Europe and Asia according to the objectives, strategies and priorities set by the Head of the
Head BU Crop Solutions and his Global Leadership Team.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
(Master's degree preferred)
• 10+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, with at least 5 years managing multi-
country operations
• Proven experience leading and developing HR teams across multiple locations
• Deep knowledge of US employment law and experience navigating labor regulations
across Latin America
• Demonstrated success as an HR Business Partner to senior leadership/C-suite
• Experience working in a matrix organization with both regional and global reporting
relationships
• Fluency in English required; Spanish or Portuguese highly preferred
• Strong business acumen with ability to translate HR strategies into measurable business
outcomes
• Experience in manufacturing, distribution, chemical, or industrial sectors preferred
Technical Competencies:
• Expertise in HR operations and full employee lifecycle management
• Experience implementing global HRIS and digital HR tools
• Strong understanding of talent management, succession planning, and organizational
development
• Knowledge of compensation structures and incentive design across multiple markets

Compensation package
- yearly base salary: 150,000 USD – 180,000 USD
