Human Resources Generalist

HR Generalist – Phoenix Home Care & Hospice – St. Louis, MO

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM (No weekends!)

You’ll play a key role in onboarding, employee relations, and day-to-day HR operations while helping shape a positive and supportive culture.

What You’ll Do:

  • Help manage all aspects of onboarding and orientation for new hires
  • Process employee documentation and maintain compliance across HR records
  • Conduct background checks and ensure timely hiring processes
  • Provide guidance and support to office and field staff on HR policies and procedures
  • Assist with employee relations, training, and engagement initiatives
  • Collaborate with leadership on special projects and continuous improvement

What You Bring:

  • 1+ year of HR or related administrative experience (healthcare preferred)
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
  • Customer service mindset — approachable, patient, and professional
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HR systems
  • SHRM-CP or PHR certification preferred (not required)
